Turning to God because we need God

A woman holds her hand up in praise during colorful sunset.

We can also turn to God for justice. When we have been wronged we can turn to God. The human response to injustice is revenge. We can turn to revenge, but perhaps there is an even better route. Take your injustice and turn to God.

Proverbs 29:26 Many seek the ruler’s favor, but justice for man comes from the Lord.

Romans 12:19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

We can turn to God for justice.

Psalm 68:5 He is a father to the fatherless; he gives justice to the widows, for he is holy.

There is a song with the following words: ‘I need you. I need you for real success, I need you for my next breath, I need you.’ This is the truth of that matter. We need God. Because of the fact that we need Him we need to get to that point where we turn to Him as a response to our understanding of how much we need Him.

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

We need more than our earthly and natural needs to survive life. We need God in our lives and we can turn to Him because of our need of Him!

I turn to Jesus in good and bad times.
    He is my refuge!

    Dear Andrew

Thank you for this much needed piece of wisdom! Currently battling with legal issues that flared up again, matters that should have been settled 10 years ago after my husband passed away, I am stressed and confused and in turmoil! I was praying tonight for God’s peace! Been battling for 13 years with legal stuff all due to one person that comitted fraud and turned our lives upside down with hundreds of thousands in legal costs!

This really means a lot to me!

Praying for Vanessa and you as a family may God form a shield around you Deut 33: 26-27

    God Bless
